Hoogvliet supermarkets have announced their plans to introduce self-scanning into 60 of their shops throughout the Netherlands. After an in-depth selection process, the best-of-breed combination of Motorola MC17T retail mobile computer and My-Scan, the self-scanning application from Re-Vision, were chosen to support the project. The first store is planned to go live at the end of 2011.
