Re-Vision at APRCE 2011 Convention and Expo in Singapore

Motorola Solutions and Re-Vision presented self-scanning technology in a joint effort to bring the APAC market to follow one of the major retail trends in Europe.
The Asia Pacific Retailers Convention & Exhibition (APRCE) is held in different cities once every 2 years. Returning to Singapore in 2011 for the second time after over 20 years, the 15th APRCE has developed into the largest international retailers’ convention to be accompanied by a retail exhibition in the region. The combined event provided an all-encompassing experience for delegates, exhibitors and visitors:
Self-scanning technology was presented to the APAC market for the first time by Motorola Solutions jointly with Re-Vision, Asia following one of the major trends in Europe where self-scanning (or PSS, Personal Shopping System) projects are becoming widely adopted by the largest retailers during the past 2-3 years. My-Scan software solution from Re-Vision was showcased at the Motorola booth among other key solutions on display, featuring a unique value proposition to the retailers: enabling them to reduce operational costs while at the same time driving up their service level.
