Re-Vision and Motorola together increase their marketshare: Hoogvliet in the Netherlands will introduce self-scanning into 55 of their shops.
Hoogvliet supermarkets have announced their plans to introduce self-scanning into 55 of their shops throughout the Netherlands. After an in-depth selection process, the best-of-breed combination of Motorola MC17T retail mobile computer and My-Scan, the self-scanning application from Re-Vision, were chosen to support the project. The first store is planned to go live at the end of 2011. Thanks to their expertise in self-scanning installations, Centric B.V. were selected to act as a system integrator and the prime contrator for this project.
